Skilled in B&W darkroom work. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience working in black and white darkrooms. You must be very knowledgeable in film developing and darkroom printing.
Local. We are looking for someone who will have no trouble traveling to Gowanus. We are located off of the F, G, and R trains.
Skilled in customer service. This position requires working directly with customers on a daily basis.
Currently creating your own work. We are looking to add someone to our team who is actually dedicated to this craft. If you shoot film and make prints, you are more likely to be considered.
You are a customer of ours. Those who have already been to Gowanus Darkroom or who come by regularly will much more highly considered.
Flexible. Our hours are 12-6 every day. We may be looking for a weekend shift or need someone with weekday availability.
