These courses are 6-8 weeks long, meeting every week on the same day to cover new topics. These long form classes will give you the skills to confidently create your own work and teach you new skills week to week.

Make a Reservation:
Make a reservation to use the color or black & white darkroom, 8x10 enlarger, film processing area, film scanner, or studio. Anyone can book this reservation. Payment is made after you're done using all equipment and facilities.

This 8 week course is a follow up to our Black and White Darkroom 101 course. In this course you will continue your darkroom education and gain a deeper understanding of the many possibilities of black and white darkroom printing
All chemistry is included in this course rate. You will also receive partial membership at Gowanus Darkroom for the duration of the course.
Prerequisites:
A basic understanding of b&w darkroom printing. (Great for students who have taken an Intro to B&W Darkroom course (we also recommend having printed in our darkroom a few times if this is the case).
What to bring:
Some examples of your past work, and examples of what you would like to achieve in this course.
In class, we will discuss the materials you will need to bring week to week.
